Hand built by locals. The new addition to the Blur Eyecare optometrist stable has been open in Mt Maunganui since August ’15. Nic Clegg & Paul Mossong were the men to turn Stu & Haidee’s ideas into the work of art that the Mount optometrist store is. Nic is a Manchester-born metal work sculptor extraordinaire and Paul is the same guy, but with wood as the benefactor of his genius. Inspired by the trees in Stuart’s mind, the interior of our Mount store is an indoor forest all wrapped up in a shop. We bring the same independent approach to eye care and eyewear to one of New Zealand's most iconic beachside destinations. Located in the heart of Mount Maunganui, the practice offers comprehensive eye examinations alongside a carefully curated collection of premium independent frames from around the world.
